Black Oxide Industries was established in 1974 by it's founder, Mr. Edward Mata. Our company has carried on and expanded Mr. Mata's original vision of building a professional, customer service based metal finishing company.

Mr. Pete Mata has advanced Black Oxide Industries to the level it is today, the largest production job shop on the West Coast. Black Oxide Industries is known in the industry as being a PROFESSIONAL metal finishing operation that prides itself in giving "QUALITY WITHOUT COMPROMISE."

We here at Black Oxide take pride in our process, procedures and quality standards. These procedures and standards have received approvals from various U.S. MILITARY DIVISIONS. Some of these project approvals include the APACHE HELICOPTER, M-1 TANK and the PENETRATOR MISSILE PROJECT.

Black Oxide Industries has its own testing lab. This lab includes a state-of-the-art salt spray chamber. Salt testing allows us to see the durability of the different finishes.

Transportation is available, servicing all of Southern California. We have a radio dispatched fleet of 40 ft. stakebed trucks.
